This tiny village is the oldest on the island and is surrounded by vineyards. From there, you'll drive to Pyrgos, Santorini's former capital. This pretty place is all sugar-cube houses, neo-classical mansions and narrow lanes twisting up to a Venetian castle, which offers up fabulous island views. Afterwards, you'll get to sample some local wines in a secluded spot with sea views, before heading for Santorini's star turn – Oia. Perched on a clifftop, this hip-and-happening whitewashed village serves up amazing views over the caldera, making it the perfect spot to catch a blazing Greek sunset. It's spectacular stuff.
