Snowshoe winter hike near Stockholm
Explore the winter wonderland that is waiting to be explored just outside of Stockholm. Head out of the city for a day to snowshoe through icy forests, over snowy paths and frozen lakes. Follow your guide around the best routes of taiga forest. They will lead you up to a viewpoint from where you can see endless forests and (if weather conditions allow) all the way up to the archipelago. Halfway through the tour your guide will prepare a campfire lunch. Enjoy the tasty food and listen to the sounds of the forest. On the way back, keep an eye out for tracks left by wild animals while hiking, there are many reindeer and moose living in the forest.

* This tour involves active physical motion and being in healthy shape is therefore required
* Remember to dress warmly with sports (outdoor) clothing, gloves, a hat and scarf on the day of the tour
* If the snow level demands the use of snowshoes you will use these. Otherwise, you will use ice grip cleats under your boots when crossing lakes
