Inside these structures, you'll find an extensive collection of predominantly South East Asian art, amassed by Jim Thompson himself. The James H.W. Thompson Foundation now oversees the house and its impressive art collection, with a mission to preserve both for future generations.Jim Thompson played a pivotal role in rejuvenating the Thai silk industry. As you explore the house, you'll encounter various tools used in silk production, as well as informative displays detailing the process of silk worm harvesting, spinning and weaving.Another cultural gem in Bangkok is the Pakkad Palace, also known as Suan Pakkard Palace.
