Djerba island half-day tour

With ancient Roman architecture, whitewashed Berber villages and a history-packed capital, you'll find that there's much more to Djerba than just sand and sunshine. Star turns include the ancient causeway, Guellala and Houmt-Souk on this morning tour.First up is an ancient Roman causeway – a low, rock-bridge that dates back 2,000 years and once would have been 6km long, built to link Djerba to the coast. It's on to Guellala next, where you'll visit the museum followed by free time to explore this famed pottery centre and shop for earthenware pots and bowls.Then, you'll head to the island's capital. Wander the maze-like streets and soak up the atmosphere in the local markets of Houmt Souk. We'll make our final stop at Dar Jilani.
