Essential Packing List for Kilimanjaro Trekting:
Clothing and Footwear:
Waterproof jacket and pants (Gore-Tex recommended)
Insulated down jacket for cold summit nights
Moisture-wicking base layers (avoid cotton)
Fleece or soft-shell jacket
Warm beanie, sun hat, and neck gaiter (buff)
Waterproof hiking boots (broken-in) and warm thermal socks
Gloves (liners and waterproof outer gloves)
Equipment:
Sleeping bag (rated for -15°C/0°F or colder)
Trekking poles
Headlamp with extra batteries
Daypack (20-35 liters) for personal items during the day
Duffel bag (70-90 liters) for porters to carry your gear

Pickup is available from hotels in Moshi. Please be ready at your hotel reception at the scheduled time. Transfers from outside Moshi can be arranged upon request at an additional cost.
