The ride travels through varied ecosystems including forest trails, suitable for all experience levels from beginners to experienced riders.Upon arrival 30 minutes before the scheduled ride time, you'll receive a safety briefing and helmet fitting before being matched with a horse suited to your experience level. The guides lead the group along established trails, sharing information about local flora, fauna and the region's cultural history. Wildlife sightings may include native bird species and other forest animals, though encounters are not guaranteed as these are wild animals in their natural habitat.The total experience lasts approximately 100 minutes: 30 minutes for arrival, safety briefing and mounting; 50 minutes riding on forest trails; and 20 minutes for photos, dismounting and departure. Rides operate year-round, weather permitting.

Where you'll meet
The tour meets at the Main Riding Barn inside Rock Springs Run State Reserve. Guests must stop at the entrance gate before entering the reserve. Allow approximately 5 minutes of travel time from the entrance gate to the Riding Barn. Please arrive at the Riding Barn at least 30 minutes before your experience departure time.
