General description ------------------- Renovated in 2007, this city hotel opened in 2003 and comprises a total of 324 guestrooms spread over 27 floors. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, lift access and a newspaper stand. It also offers a cafe, a hairdressing salon, a bar, a pub, a disco and a games room as well as a restaurant, conference facilities and WLAN/Internet access (charges apply). There is an open air patio on level 27 which offers views of the city, the Huangpu River, and the Bund and the elevator trip to the patio offers views of the surrounding historical neighbourhood. Location -------- The hotel is conveniently located near the famous Bund within walking distance to the Sichuan road, one of the main shopping streets in Shanghai, and easily accessible to the Nanjing road, the city's most bustling commercial and shopping center. Rooms ----- Rooms are bright, well furnished with modern facilities. Most of the rooms have a great Bund view. The majority of the rooms have a full bathroom, which are in very good condition, but some rooms only have a shower room. Exterior -------- It is a modern, glass-wall building with higher floor offering spectacular view of the city. Restaurant ---------- The breakfast room on the lobby level is nicely decorated with modern design offering a wide selection of Chinese and Western cuisine.
