The Gunter Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel San Antonio is located in downtown San Antonio and across the street from the scenic San Antonio River Walk. After undergoing a $50 million renovation, the new iteration of the 116 year old hotel is modernized with new bathrooms, mid-century inspired fixtures, rich color palates and more. As a nod to Blues legend Robert Johnson, who recorded his first album at the hotel in 1936, each room is equipped with a record player and a copy of his first record. The hotel also features a vinyl library in the lobby that guests can take advantage of during their stay.
